Handpecked

The re-brand of Handpecked aimed to convey the love and care involved in the running of a start-up business. The founders of Handpecked – a small (live) poultry supplier – required a new brand identity to communicate their values and personality, thus engaging with their audience at a more emotional level.

The design was inspired by their name: a hand – as a representation of a wing – is held against a roughly printed silhouette of a hen, representing the literally ‘hands-on’ nature of the business and the human touch that is present in every part of their identity.  The design provides an understated, yet witty, rendering of their brand identity that communicates the quality nature of ‘Handpecked’ products and also reflects the care and attention they give their customers.
